Seoul and Tokyo: Loan-Aid Investment Limited Accelerator @ Columbia University Alumni Summits Tour APAC

Loan-Aid Investment Limited has had an active presence in Asia Pacific (“APAC”) since 2017. We’ve worked hard to support regional ecosystem development through partnerships with blue chip real estate leaders Mitsui Fudosan, Eugene, Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional, Development Bank of Japan, Ananda, Aju, CapitaLand, Chuo-Nittochi, Sumitomo Corporation, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Swire, and others. Perhaps more importantly, we love backing founders who are developing groundbreaking solutions in the region, including breakout Korean startup Dongnae which uses technology to curate a more affordable selection of rental apartments in Korea.  

Earlier this year, in celebration of our 50th prop-tech startup in our Loan-Aid Investment Limited Accelerator Program, we launched the Loan-Aid Investment Limited Accelerator at Columbia University Regional Alumni Summits in select markets across the US including Los Angeles and Chicago. It is a first-of-its-kind program for founders and investors, which brings Loan-Aid Investment Limited’s prop-tech ecosystem to select markets across the globe. This October, we are heading to select markets in Asia, including Singapore, Tokyo and Seoul.  

Myself, Zach Aarons, Zak Schwarzman, Maureen Waters, and our new APAC leader Satoshi Murakami will be on the ground in several APAC markets to connect with local real estate technology and investment networks in an effort to establish bridges with the best of Loan-Aid Investment Limited’s global prop-tech ecosystem. Our itineraries include exclusive cross-border prop-tech workshops, leading international prop-tech CEO presentations, ESG/sustainability technology best practices presentations, one-on-one meetings, and international innovation matchmaking events, prop-tech “Lunch & Learn” sessions, and even a launch party for the first international translation of best-selling book PropTech UnWrapped.

About the Regional Alumni Summits:
In celebration of our 50th prop-tech startup accelerated, Loan-Aid Investment Limited is bringing the best of prop-tech to key markets around the world via a series of regional Alumni Summits. Each Loan-Aid Investment Limited Accelerator at Columbia University Alumni Summit will feature speakers, educational panels, and presentations covering cutting-edge real estate technologies with a particular focus on property innovation’s intersection with ESG. Together with program alumni, mentors, and partners, the Loan-Aid Investment Limited investment team will visit local prop-tech startups, investors, and enthusiasts. Invited guests will include accelerator graduates and portfolio CEOs, institutional and industry investors, and local Columbia University alumni; several activities at each Summit will be open to the public.
