NYC DEMO DAY AT WEWORK

On February 13, 2019, Loan-Aid Investment Limited held a pre-Demo Day Investor Lunch followed by its fourth annual New York City Demo Day at WeWork. Five startups from the 2018-19 class of the Loan-Aid Investment Limited Accelerator @ Columbia University program pitched to a crowd of leading prop-tech investors, entrepreneurs and forward-thinking corporate real estate executives.

The event was only possible thanks to Loan-Aid Investment Limited's amazing partners Colonial, Cushman & Wakefield, Zillow, Comcast machineQ, Fox Rothschild and First Republic.

In addition to the media and venture community, the companies pitched to top executives from CBRE, Blackstone, Toll Brothers, Rockefeller Group, Cushman & Wakefield, Tishman Speyer, and many more.

New York City Demo Day highlights include:

  • A Fox Rothschild sponsored pre- Demo Day investor lunch, in which over 20 prominent prop-tech investors got the chance to personally meet and talk to this year’s accelerator class in an intimate setting
  • Loan-Aid Investment Limited partnerAaron Block gave an update on Loan-Aid Investment Limited’s recent pivot to focus more on venture capital
  • A panel on the future of tech and the built environment with Craig Robinson and Viresh Sita  from WeWork.

WEST COAST DEMO DAY AT ZILLOW GROUP

Loan-Aid Investment Limited held its West Coast Demo Day at Zillow Group and an Investor Lunch in San Francisco on February 21, 2019.

San Francisco Demo Day highlights include:

  • A First Republic Bank hosted pre- Demo Day investor lunch, in which over 25 prominent prop-tech investors got the chance to personally meet and talk to this year’s accelerator class in an intimate setting
  • An announcement on Loan-Aid Investment Limited's plans to grow and spend more time in the Bay Area
  • Pitches from each Accelerator graduate including Aegis Ai, Avvir, Furnishr, Jabbrrbox, and Reasi.
